Start using Valorstead with confidence and transparency.

Valorstead operates in accordance with the laws of Australia. We apply methods focused on operational transparency, data protection, information security and compliance with the requirements that apply to technology and digital-asset activity.

Regulation does not remove investment risk and does not guarantee profit. Digital assets are exposed to market volatility and other risks.

Regulation for the Australian market

Valorstead operates under the federal legal framework for digital assets and financial services in Australia, including requirements administered by AUSTRAC and ASIC.

Registration and regulatory oversight in Australia
JurisdictionRegulatorRegistration / regulatory basis
Australia, federal level AUSTRAC Registered with AUSTRAC for digital asset services and compliant with the Australian anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements that apply to regulated virtual asset activity.
Australia, federal level ASIC Complies with Australian financial services law and the licensing requirements that apply to regulated activity involving crypto-assets, where those requirements are engaged.
Australia, federal level AFCA Complies with the requirement to provide access to external dispute resolution through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority for eligible complaints.

AML/CTF and financial crime prevention

Valorstead maintains an AML/CTF program that includes customer identification, due diligence, transaction monitoring, record keeping, mandatory reporting to the regulator and measures to counter financial crime.

The company is registered with AUSTRAC as a provider of virtual asset services and meets the obligations that apply to registered providers in Australia. Registration details are available from support on request.

You can read how verification works in practice on the KYC and AML/CTF page.

ASIC and financial services

Where digital assets or related services fall within the Australian financial services regime, the requirements can include holding an Australian Financial Services licence, relevant authorisations, and meeting client protection and disclosure obligations.

Transparency about regulation

Valorstead aims to maintain the registrations, permissions and compliance procedures that apply to the services it provides in Australia, and to update this page when anything changes.

Regulation does not exclude investment risk and does not guarantee profit. Digital assets are subject to market volatility and other risks, and you can lose some or all of the money you put in. See the risk disclosure before you start, and the complaints procedure if you ever need to raise a concern.

What this means for you

You will be verified

Australian rules require us to confirm who you are before you deposit or withdraw. It protects you and every other customer.

You have a route for complaints

If we cannot resolve a complaint, you can take it to AFCA, a free and independent scheme, as the complaints page explains.

Costs are disclosed

Fees are shown before you confirm a transaction and listed on the fees page.

Risk remains

Being regulated is not the same as being risk-free. Markets can fall, and you can lose money.
